The Hopkins vs Dawson fight is a month to go and Chad Dawson decided to change its trainer. Bernard Hopkins ditches the Hall of Fame trainer Emanuel Steward with its former trainer “Iceman” John Scully in his fight against light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins on October 15, 201 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

There are reasons why Chad Dawson change his trainer. Chad Dawson don’t want the training camp to be relocated in Detroit but rather want to be trained in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, which is driving distance from his home in Connecticut. Second is, John Scully is the trainer of Chad Dawson for many years and is comfortable with.
